I was humbled to be given an opportunity to share skills and experience with Google’s Pan African SMB community as part of Google’s Small Business Week activities. On the continent, SMEs have fast become the backbone of the economy, accounting for nearly 80% of the region’s employment. There is no question that supporting these businesses and helping them succeed is critical – especially online.
